Teaching Philosophy
I am a very big believer of the idea that learning music will resonate with a person for the rest of their life. Playing an instrument can bring so much joy to a student and their family. It teaches responsibility, discipline, and gives a student a sense of self-confidence that they can bring to all other aspects of their life.
When teaching, I focus on fundamental studies as a basic part of every lesson because every musician needs a strong base no matter the age or level. In addition to basic fundamentals, my students work on solo rep, etudes, excerpts and are taught how to perform and audition.
